I've used this product for hot cocoa for years and we love it. I was so delighted to find it on Amazon.com. You won't go wrong if you like hot cocoa on a cold winter's night.just add a dab of Whipped Cream and you're ready to go. We recently relocated from Portland Oregon to Nashville Tennessee. They don't have Droste Cocoa in this part of the US. It's rich, much better than those cheap cocoa's you buy at the store.
You can also use a pot to heat in if you want to share.You can add sugar instead of stevia if you want, but why not save the calories for a second cup. Mix till it dissolves completely - be sure to get the sides and bottom. Add 1 extra heaping teaspoon of Droste. Fill the rest with milk and heat. Get a tall mug, fill it 1/4 full with milk. Microwave till it is very hot. Add a strong pinch of stevia for sweetening.
Dutch Process is the best Cocoa powder to use in any form of baking or if you just want a killer hot chocolate.
I think its a fair price point for the amount of product and quality. The cocoa taste is altered if you use aspartame or the phenyl.whatever. I am an avid baker and have used many different types of cocoa over the years. This is by far the best to bake with.it works well with splenda, sweet-n-low, and regular sugar. Price is higher than grocery store and lower than other high ends.

Dutch-Processed or Alkalized Unsweetened Cocoa Powder is treated with an alkali to neutralize its acids. It has a reddish-brown color, mild flavor, and is easy to dissolve in liquids.
